Tatami was established in the first half of 2008 after extensive research and customer consultation over the previous 12 months. It is based in a progressive and technically strong Finnish City just a few kilometers from the Russian border and a 50 minute domestic flight to Helsinki, the Finnish Capital.

First customer accounts opened included a third party supplier agreement with a leading Finnish advertising agency for a Russian news portal. Now after a full year’s trading Tatami are providing SEO and SEM services direct to a leading software company operating out of 10 international office locations across Europe, Americas, Asia and Australasia. In addition Tatami can reference a Corporate Performance Management consultancy firm operating domestically, both a sporting goods and log house manufacturer for their international sites as well as other advertising and media agencies established at the start.

Services offered are SEM, SEO, social media and other electronic marketing campaign planning and execution. Specialisms and relationships include suppliers and partners, internationally and specifically in Finland and Russsia with Google, Yahoo!, Yandex and Rambler.

Joonas Rinne - Co-founder & Lead Planner

The co-founder and lead planner at Tatami is Joonas Rinne, a business graduate from the University of Joensuu who together with the other five founding shareholders has several years of collective experience of online marketing. Until recently much of Joonas’ marketing experience has been academic but he has quickly made use of this to the benefit of Tatami’s clients. Joonas is fluent in English and Finnish, has a working knowledge of Swedish and manages the native speaking Russians used by Tatami.
